that I just completed, I decided to tackle this room as well.. I’m going to be completing this project little by little, section by section, and mostly all by myself, just when I can find the time.

provide me with even more fabric for the room. The one I chose is called Covington Navy Woven Ticking.

I think it has a really great vintagey baseball feel when it’s put in the room with everything else.. Of course, that’s a lot of fabric, so I still needed to get a little bit of help getting it all measured and cut, because that required bending over.Measuring it was simple. We measured from the curtain rod down to the floor and added 4 inches.

1 inch for the hem at the bottom, and 3 inches for the curtain rod pocket at the top.For the width, we just left it as-is and it was perfect.

More than perfect!.

This room only has one window, so I made 2 panels.. For each panel, I folded the sides in about a 1/2 an inch and ironed it, then sewed it in place..Let it dry for a bit, leave your roller out, and come back to it once it’s a bit dryer.

Look and see if you notice any spots that really obviously need touching up and do it then. This will give you an idea of how it will look when it’s dry and you can see where it’s really needed versus the spots that you’re just being paranoid about.. Really, don’t be so hard on yourself.

Hey, you’ve just painted a ceiling, one of the most daunting painting tasks that you can tackle! And you know what?
